current bgm: Small of Two Pieces (english version) -Xenogears

Well, just got back from eating out. Now I remember why Outback is my all-time favorite restaurant. Because it's just that good. The service is nice and friendly, the place is dimmly lit to give it a laidback feeling and the food is wonderful. All the other places I've been to never have steaks so big and juicy and tender like they have at the Outback. I'm in love with their bread and their garlic mashed potatos are second only to my personal make.

Last night was my old school's prom night. A couple of my friends invited me to eat dinner with them before they headed out. We went to a hibachi, got a table where we get a chef to entertain us. Dude, did he entertain us. He was making fun of one of the girls at the table because she wasn't sitting next to a guy (remember that part, because it's important). He then went pointing around the table, "See? Couple, couple, couple, couple, couple!" Of course, me with my short hair and hate of dresses, I went in a sports jacket and slacks. And I was sitting next to one of my female friends. Everyone at the table cracked up. Really, for some reason I actually find it a quasi-goal of mine to see how many people I can confuse into thinking I'm male.

Oh, you all wanted to know what I got on the GBA emulator, right? Well, I /did/ have Angelique and Love Hina, but I couldn't find patches for them, so I deleted them. No point in those scenario type games when you can't understand it, right? Also picked up Breath of Fire I and II, but those are just like the SNES versions (which i already had and beat on the snes emulator) so those also got deleted. Currently, though, I have Angelic Layer (which i'm thinking of getting rid of), Sonic Adventures (ditto), Genso Suikoden Card Game (which i can't understand how to play because it's also untranslated, but i'm keeping anyway), Guilty Gear X, Japanese version, and the Rock Man Battle Network/2 and Rock Man Zero. Those are also all Japanese so I can't understand it, but there's no way in hell I'm deleting them. Especially RMZ^^

Speaking of Rock Man, today's picture is Freeze. It was scanned kinda light, so it's hard to tell that he's powering up for his attack, can't really see the ice in his hands or the little edilons of power around him. Anyway, his background: he's one of the most obedient Robot Masters, never arguing or talking badly or anything. He does what he's ordered, when he's ordered and /only/ what he's ordered. In fact, he was such a good little boy that he got Wily's favor, which made Magnet upset. Magnet then went about to put Freeze in his place, but Freeze would never fight back, or cry or anything. Magnet eventually lost interest, so Snake decided to take over. However, something about the pain and emptiness in Freeze's eyes got to him so much, Snake wound up falling in 'love' with him.

However, back when Slash was being beaten around by Wily, Freeze was the only one that tried to help him, the only time Freeze disobeyed orders. And because of that, Freeze is Slash's closest and only 'real' friend. And because of that, Slash will do anything to make sure Snake or the other Enforcers don't go anywhere near him. Of course, Freeze really doesn't know what to make of it. He's kinda... 'empty' when it comes to emotions and reactions.
