current bgm: Drink -They Might be Giants

Huzzah. I've found out something fun.

Because I have recruiter's assistant, I'm not going to be leaving until sometime May 20th, on a Monday.

I went to my old high school with one of the SGTs to pick up a potential DEPper (who failed to show up) and ran into the career guidance person. So, he being the joker clown guy he is, 'introduces' me to the lady. Of course, she's new this year, she didn't know that I graduated last year. But anyway, we were there in our dress blue deltas, so I was looking pretty sharp and being polite and helpful and everything.

Guess who basically got suckered into talking to the graduating 2002 class? During school hours? About the military? In the auditorium during flex the day she'll be leaving?

Oooo! Ooo! I know the answer! Me! I'm the moron!

It's not so much that I don't /want/ to do it. Well, yeah, I don't wanna, but it's mainly for the fact that.... I /hate/ talking to a crowd, I never know what to say. But... *sigh* if I'm lucky, I'll to leave at like... 9 in the morning when the thing is suppose to start. Yeah, right. Not when the Gunny and everyone really wants me to go. You know, just to look good. Ah, well.

In more art related news, for the next couple of days, I'll be showing off some more FFIV pictures. Namely more Edge and Kain ones. For some odd reason, I really love those two, but I don't think of them as a couple. In fact, just about the last FF game I've played that I couldn't come up with a tasteful (imho) slash couple was FFVI. Seven and after, there would just be guys that screamed out 'GAY~!' to me. But that's just me. I'd say maybe it's because I played the game before I really got into the entire yaoi deal, you know, like how I was with Ranma and Kenshin and all (the two big name shows i can't find yaoi appeal with). But then, when I got an emulator on the computer less than a year ago, I played Breath of Fire I and II and can't see a yaoi coupling in either of them, either. So I guess it's just the luck of the draw, really.

Unfinished

Like the title says, the picture is unfinished and shall remain so because I am lazy. For some reason, I believe that I lost my touch for drawing them. It's really rather upsetting, but nothing against it can be done. Until I have more free time because, currently, I'm working from 8:30 to 6:00 every weekday. So, basically, I still have no time on my hands! Go me!
