current bgm: Comatose (In the Arms of Slumber) -Eagle Eye Cherry

Damn, nearly two months since I last posted... I feel kinda bad. I mean, I /did/ have a good excuse for the past month and half, but not for that last couple weeks. Well, except for last week because I was away from my computer the entire time. But I had trouble getting internet connection and my modem was giving me grief for a while. But that... *calculates rather badly* one week (?)... I.... was too lazy to do anything^^;;

I seriously need a maintainer for my site. Someone that'll do all the crap stuff I don't want to do and who'll kick me in the ass to get things done. Maybe I should ask Cheri...

Not an awful lot has happened to me, really. I went to Otakon a while back, that was fun. Got to see Steph-san and Ruaki-san and talked with them for a while, that made my day^^. Got Ian and Matt from MacHall to sign my pass, that made my night and the next day^_______^. And I got a little plastic sakura from someone cosplaying as Seishirou-san because I took their picture. That just made me giddy XDD!

I've made some pretty good friends here. Two of them are in my graphics course and another is a DDR master. (when he found out he missed the competition in the con, he was upset. that's what happens when you go on ra, jew-san) I'm also pretty well known around the barracks now because of the comics I draw when I'm bored or when insanity strikes me. Started it up a while ago, probably a little over a month ago. The people I showed it to encouraged me to do more. Now I have a nice stack of little comics posted up on the board to third deck (female deck). But the males also likes them, too. Whenever they stopped on third deck for tours as duty, they always check to see if I've put anything up. I've had people ask me to draw them in a comic and I've had people ask if I'd continue to make the same sort of comics when I get to my first duty station and put them on-line. Hell, a couple of us were joking about making it an actual comic book and a couple of them actually admitted that they probably would buy one^^;; I'm so happy.

Anyway, on to today's picture. I'm sure some of you have already read my Rock Man fic Introducing Rubber Man! Well, I made a sequel to it because... well, because I drew a picture^^;; It's called Introducing Trojan Man! Yeah, I'm sure that's what everyone else thought, too^^;;

The background on Trojan is that he and Pussy are Rubber's best friends. However, whereas Pussy is totally straight (but loves messing around occassionally with guys just for the fun of it), Trojan is not only gay, he's also in love with Rubber. Except he's too afraid to say anything, so he's perfectly happy with just being with him. But Rubber respects him too much as a friend and won't sleep with him, so I guess he's kinda getting the short end of the deal.

But, all I can say for this (and the other rubber and trojan picture i'll put up hopefully tomorrow) picture: damn, Trojan is hot.

I hate Macs. I hate Illustraitor. And I hate having to sit all day long in front of a computer, trying to pretend that I'm doing what the instructors are telling us to do in Photoshop when I've been familiar with it for three years....

.........and I have damn duty tomorrow morning. Hello 0430 wake up.
