current bgm: Welcome to War- WarCraft III

Well, happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone. Of course, were I still in Spanish class, I might actually be celebrating it. And if it weren't a Sunday and I were still in Spanish class, I might know /how/ to celebrate it.

Yesterday, my mom traded her car in for a new one. She used to have this tiny little, red, two-door Mazda sportscar. It was recalled years ago for having a defective belt in the engine, but she was lucky enough to have a working model. So now we have a silver-ish Toyota Matrix, 2003 model. Yeah, a good seven months early, woohoo!

It's not bad. I hate how it's set up, it really has a screwed up view area. I mean, the chairs block the rearview mirror, they and the window framing screws up the view for when you try to look over your shoulder...

But it has a six-disc CD player! I finally get a car that has a CD player! ....except this one doesn't have a cassette player! ><;; That's so stupid, how can you /not/ have a cassette player!? Oh well, I made myself feel better about it by finally buying a Eagle-Eye Cherry CD. I really wanted the first one, but they didn't have it. I don't know if it was just that certain store or SamGoody really went downhill after I left... They had next to no selection at all!

The Psycho

I love him being psycho, it's so much fun. And he looks so cool, I love this picture. My favorite pencil sketch to date, I'd say. Too bad Slash is now currently dead, but... *sighs* Ah well, somethings can't be helped.
